Pokemon Ultra Platinum is a Difficulty Hack of Pokemon Ultra Sun. There have been many changes, including Pokemon Base Stats, Pokemon Battles, the Pokedex, Pokemon Moves, and Pokemon Abilities.
Pokemon Ultra Platinum has the difficulty of Ultra Sun magnified tenfold, with a Sinnoh twist, and a Sinnoh inspired Pokedex. You fight Cyrus, and Cynthia in the main story. Ultra Necrozma is now Origin Giratina, the Totem Pokemon of Alola are now Sinnoh pokemon, and all of the other major battles are inspired by Platinum one way or another. Additionally, Mega Pokemon are intended to be used in the main story.

Megastones and Mega Evolution Guide
Konikoni City’s herb and incense shop now sell megastones, alphabetically from Abomasnow-Camerupt.
The BP shop in the battle royale dome now sells the rest of the megastones, from Camerupt-the rest.
In order to get the mega ring/key stone, the player must beat 5 trials. Then, check the shop. It should sell both. Afterwards, refer to the guide below.
*Note
Currently it is impossible to unlock mega evolution naturally in the main story without the use of PkHex or other save editors.
It is very simple, you just open your save in PkHex, and go to the SAV tab, Trainer Info tab, Misc tab, and select “Unlocked Mega Evolution” in the bottom left. Then, export your save as “Main” and- load the game.

– Starters have been replaced with Sinnoh starters. (Duh)
-The sinnoh fossils have replaced all of the fossils.
-The eevee egg in the daycare is now a togepi egg.
-The first totem sticker gift is now eevee.
-The rest of the totem gifts are now Porygon,each of them are holding the DOUSE/BURN/CHILL/SHOCK drives, respectively. Magnezone and Porygon-Z both now learn Techno Blast, so keep this handy.
-Spiritomb has replaced the Poipole gift for defeating Giratina.
-Chatot has replaced the Hawlucha trade. They ask for a Riolu, and the Chatot is modest, with 31 IVs in spatk, speed, and hp, and 1 in the others. It is holding a Metronome, and has ability slot #1.
-Chingling has replaced the Noibat trade. They ask for a Machop, and it is modest, with perfect IVs in spatk, speed and HP, and 1 in the others. It is holding a bright powder, and has ability slot #1.
-Stunky has replaced the Arbok trade. They now ask for a Staravia, and the Stunky is lonely, with perfect IVs in attack, spatk, and speed, and 1 in the others. It’s holding a black sludge, with ability slot #1.
-Rotom has replaced the Phantump trade. They now ask for a Porygon, and the Rotom is calm, with perfect IVs in spatk, speed and hp, and 1 in the others.
-Snover has replaced the Shellos trade. They now ask for a Snorunt, and the Snover is Quiet, with perfect IVs in attack, spatk and HP, and 1 in the others. It’s holding an Abomasite, with ability slot #1.
-Ambipom has replaced the Tauros trade. They now ask for a Drifblim, and the Ambipom is adamant, with perfect IVs in attack, speed and HP, and 1 in the others. It’s holding a King’s Rock, with ability slot #2.
Trainer Battles Guide
If you intend to do a Nuzlocke Challenge of this game, and plan to use heal limitations, play with Teamlocked rules, or play on set style,(I recommend it, it’s fun)keep the following tips in mind:
– EV training is HEAVILY recommended
(Power items available after 1st trial)
– Pokemon Refresh is highly recommended
– Please, use the documents and form plans beforehand
– Utilize the TM shops, items, and MEGAS!
The hack has thought out battles, especially the totems. I tried my absolute best to balance it so it’s hard, but still enjoyable and fair. I hope you enjoy it, truly.
