INSIDE SYSTEM, a Japanese independent game developer, created an action platformer called The Legend of Dark Witch for the Nintendo 3DS eShop. The game is structured similarly to Mega Man, with eight stages of bosses to defeat before gaining access to the ninth and final stage to face the ninth and final boss. The Touhou video game series served as an inspiration for this game.
