One of the numerous NPCs you’ll meet in Elden Ring who has a key objective to accomplish is Brother Corhyn. Where to find him, how to start and advance his questline, and how to finish it such that it unlocks one of the game’s multiple endings are all covered in this section of our Elden Ring guide.
At the Roundtable Hold
Brother Corhyn will be your first encounter in the Roundtable Hold. When you initially see him, you cannot advance his questline since you must first give him at least one prayerbook in order to start it. You can utilise him as a vendor for Incantations while he’s at the Roundtable Hold. After a few conversations with him, he admits that he’s thinking of going outside to look for the honourable Goldmask.
At the Altus Plateau
Brother Corhyn will depart the Roundtable Hold once you arrive at the Altus Plateau; he may now be found close to the waypoint where you can retrieve the Altus Plateau map fragment. In order to persuade Corhyn to relocate to his third location, you must finish his dialogue at this point and then travel north to get Goldmask. On the collapsed bridge along the Road of Iniquity Side Path, you can find Goldmask. At the Bower of Bounty Site of Grace, travel north until you reach the Spiritspring, which is situated just north of the first piece of the broken bridge. To find Goldmask, face east and take the Spiritspring up to the bridge’s landing area. Noting that Goldmask doesn’t actually speak, trying to engage him here has no bearing on Corhyn’s mission.
Inform Brother Corhyn of Goldmask’s location when you return. He will inform you that he will shortly depart to search for Goldmask alone. Corhyn can be found on the same bridge; converse with him there and identify him as an Incantations seller.
In Leyndell, Royal Capital
When you go to Leyndell, the Royal Capital, you can find Brother Corhyn and Goldmask again. Brother Corhyn and Goldmask are located on the Colosseum side of the capital’s southwest side. When you ask him about Goldmask and talk to him, he’ll say that they’re trying to figure out who Radagon really is.
Visit the Erdtree Sanctuary Site of Grace and ascend the tree towards the Queen’s Bedchamber to assist them. Turn away from the Queen’s Bedchamber and head for the golden roof on the left (just after you exit the door). Aim for the open window after leaping to the roof.
After you find a tree limb that may be crossed, turn around and walk along it to return to the room where you discovered Godfrey, First Elden Lord (Golden Shade). You should notice a body sitting on a chair that is hanging from the ceiling with something floating on it in this area. You will receive the Golden Order Principia as a result, and Brother Corhyn needs this to continue on on his quest.
Purchase the Law of Regression
You’ll need to buy the Law of Regression incantation from him after giving him the Golden Order Principia. It costs 10,000 runes and requires a level 37 Intelligence.
If you don’t have this, you can respec using a Larval Tear by visiting Rennala in the Grand Library at the Academy of Raya Lucaria (and, if you’d want, respec back again after you’ve finished the questline). Keep in mind that in order to respec with her, you must have defeated her in boss form.
Go to the Erdtree Sanctuary Site of Grace once you have the incantation and a level 37 intelligence. From here, turn left and go west. Take the lift all the way to the bottom after following the walkway into the building and down. From here, descend the first flight of stairs and turn towards the statue to the southeast with its arms spread wide. You can interact with the glowing white message sign to see the following message: Regression alone discloses secrets.
To reveal Radagon’s alternate form, use the Law of Regression in front of the statue of the character. This will also reveal a fresh message that says (warning: major endgame spoiler): Tell Brother Corhyn and Goldmask what you discovered when you get back to them. Get Brother Corhyn and Goldmask to leave this area by finishing the conversation they were having.
At the Mountaintops of the Giants
Goldmask and Brother Corhyn will then proceed to the Mountaintops of the Giants. On the grass-covered bridge, just south of the Stargazer Ruins, you can locate these. You are the one to whom Corhyn confides that he is beginning to distrust Goldmask. Brother Corhyn will feel more at peace if you offer him the Tonic of Forgetfulness here after finishing the Rya Questline at Volcano Mansion. Notably, doing so simply changes Brother Corhyn’s final location and has no bearing on your ability to obtain the Goldmask ending.
At Leyndell, Ashen Capital
If you decided against giving Corhyn the Tonic of Forgetfulness, you can look for him in Leyndell once more. You will instantly return to Leyndell, now covered in ash, after defeating Maliketh, the Black Blade. From Leyndell, Capital of Ash Site of Grace, head south until you spot the larger helix spear sticking out of the ash.
At the point of this spear is Corhyn. To obtain Corhyn’s Robes and Corhyn’s Bell Bearing, speak to him here until all of his dialogue has been used. Afterwards, restart the location. Goldmask’s body is likewise here, however this time it is at the base of the cliffs. To obtain the Mending Rune of Perfect Order, interact with the corpse. After the final boss encounter, you can utilise this to access the Age of Order Ending, one of the alternate endings.
