Elden Ring Guide – Endings

This Elden Ring Guide will walk you through all of the currently available endings, which you will be able to access once you have completed the last stage of your journey across the Lands Between. On this page, you can expect to find information regarding the various endings that you will come across depending on the decisions that you make while playing the game, as well as the questlines that you will need to have completed in order to gain access to those endings.

List of Every Ending in Elden Ring

There are currently six different conclusions that can be drawn from playing Elden Ring, with “Age of Fracture” being regarded as the canonical conclusion. The remaining five can be unlocked by completing optional quests given to you by a variety of NPCs that you will have met while exploring the Lands Between. Find below information on how to unlock each of the game’s endings, as well as an explanation of what that will mean for your Tarnished save file.

The Age of Fracture – The Elden Lord Ending

After defeating the game’s final boss, if you select the option to Mend the Elden Ring, the story will conclude with your Tarnished ascending to the throne and becoming the Elden Lord. This is the typical conclusion to Elden Ring.

To reach this conclusion, all you have to do is complete the story and triumph over all of the game’s Main Bosses.

The Age of Stars – Ranni’s Ending

You need to have finished the Ranni the Witch Questline in order to be able to use the Dark Moon Ring on Ranni. Otherwise, you won’t be able to see this ending. Following the conclusion of the final boss fight, you will have the ability to call upon Ranni by using the stones. She will vouch for the fact that the present time is the age of the stars and will refer to your character as her eternal consort.

In order to reach this conclusion, you will need to carry out the following steps:

You can now access the Three Sisters subregion in Liurnia of the Lakes after completing Caria Manor and earning its reward.

You can take on Ranni the Witch’s quest by meeting her on Ranni’s Rise, which is the middle tower.

Find Blaidd in the Siofra River, and then take his recommendation to talk to Seluvis so you can get more information.

You must vanquish Starscourge Radahn in Redmane Castle in order to gain access to Nokron, the Eternal City.

Find Ranni’s Finger Slayer Blade and bring it back to her in Nokron, the Eternal City. Your mission is to help Ranni.

You can reach Nokstella by going to Renna’s Rise, which is the first tower, and using the teleport at the very top of the tower.

Discover the location of the Miniature Ranni Doll and have three separate conversations with it at the Site of Grace. Talk to it at each location until she tells you to engage in combat with the Merciless Shadow.

Defeat the Baleful Shadow to unlock the entrance to the Lake of Rot beneath Nokstella and receive a key from Ranni.

To fight and ultimately vanquish Astel, use the coffin that can be found in the Lake of Rot.

You can get the Ring of Order from the chest in the Academy of Raya Lucaria by using the key that Ranni gave you to open the chest. This will allow you to unlock the gate that is located behind Astel.

To get to the Moonlight Alter, use the lift that is located behind Astel. Find a hole in the cathederal, descend it, and Ranni will be there waiting for you. You should give the ring to her.

The Age of Order – Goldmask’s Ending

You will need to have finished the questline involving Brother Corhyn in order to access this conclusion. After you have defeated the final boss, you will have the option to either Use the Mending Rune of Perfect Order or Mend the Elden Ring, depending on which option you choose.

Following the destruction of the Erdtree, this conclusion appears to mend the Lands Between and bring order back into the world.

In order to reach this conclusion, you will need to carry out the following steps:

Have a conversation with Brother Corhyn at the Roundtable Hold until he leaves in search of the illusive Goldmask.

In order to move the plot along, you will need to have a conversation with Brother Corhyn on the Altus Plateau.

Locate Goldmask on the shattered bridge in the northern portion of the Altus Plateau.

Notify Brother Corhyn that you have located Goldmask, and then speak to them once more on the destroyed bridge in order to convince them to relocate to Leyndell, the Royal Capital.

Try to locate Brother Corhyn and Goldmask in Leyndell, the Royal Capital, and have a conversation with them.

Once you have the Golden Order of Principa, return with it to Brother Corhyn and Goldmask who are located on the second floor of the Erdtree Sanctuary Site of Grace.

You can get the incantation of the Law of Regression from Brother Corhyn.

Cast the incantation based on the Law of Regression upon the statue of Radagon located in Leyndell (note: you need to have level 37 intelligence to use the incantation)

Talk to Brother Corhyn and Goldmask once more, and relay the information that you have uncovered to them.

In the Mountaintops of the Giants, you should look for Brother Corhyn and Goldmask.

After Leyndell has been reduced to ash, travel back to the Colosseum to locate the Mending Rune of Perfect Order on Goldmask’s body.

After the conclusion of the final boss fight, use the Mending Rune of Perfect Order.

The Age of Duskborn – Fia’s Ending

You need to have finished both the Fia Questline and the Ranni the Witch Questline up to the point where you receive the statue to invert Carian Hall in order to unlock this ending. After the confrontation with the final boss, this will give you the option to instead Use the Mending Rune of the Death-Prince rather than choose to Mend the Elden Ring. Ashes fall all around your Tarnished as they ascend to the throne as a result of this.

In order to reach this conclusion, you will need to carry out the following steps:

The Ranni the Witch Questline can be finished by following the steps outlined above until you receive the statue that allows you to invert Carian Hall.

Invert Carian Hall, then make your way to the top of the mountain to collect the Mark of Death.

Talk to Fia at the Roundtable Hold, then let her give you a hug, and finally have a private conversation with her.

Don’t forget to hand D, the Hunter of the Dead, the dagger that she just gave you.

Putting on D’s armour, proceed to the aqueduct located in the Siofra River.

You can gain access to a coffin that will take you to Deeproot Depths if you defeat the two brave gargoyles that are located at the bottom of the screen.

Fight Fia’s champions, then speak with Fia and hand over the Cursemark of Death to her.

The fight against Lichdragon Fortissax will take place in the Deathbed Dream.
When you have defeated the dragon, return to Fia and request the Mending Rune of the Death Prince from her.

After the conclusion of the final boss fight, use the Mending Rune of the Death Prince.

Lord of the Frenzied Flame – Three Fingers Ending

After you have defeated the boss, you have the option of becoming Lord of the Frenzied Flame rather than Elden Lord. You’ll need to search the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds for all three fingers if you want to see this particular ending play out.

In order to reach this conclusion, you will need to carry out the following steps:

You must make your way to the underground shaming grounds.

You must vanquish Mohg, the Omen.

If you hit the Altar that is located behind Mohg, just behind the treasure chest, a secret passage will open up.

Make your way down to the bottom of the room without getting hurt, as that is where the floor will give way.

Frenzied Flame Proscription is the name of the resting place at the Site of Grace.

Put away all of your armour and step through the door.

When you meet the Three Fingers, they will welcome you with open arms.

Outside of the room, have a conversation with Hyetta and touch her to make her your maiden.

After defeating the last boss in the game, you will become Lord of the Frenzied Flame.

This conclusion is related to the Hyetta Questline, and it also appears to be related to the Bloody Finger Hunter Yura Questline.

Blessing of Despair – The Dung Eater’s Ending

You will need to finish the Dung Eater Questline in order to access this ending. During this questline, you will need to give Dung Eater enough Seedbed Curse so that he can free his form and obtain the Mending Rune of the Fell Curse. Following the boss fight, you will have the option to either Mend the Elden RIng or Use the Mending Rune of the Fell Curse.

If you select the Use Mending Rune of the Fell Curse option, your Tarnished will be elevated to the position of Elden Lord, but he will also bring a foul curse down upon the Lands Between, which will cause widespread destruction.

In order to reach this conclusion, you will need to carry out the following steps:

Unlock the door in the Roundtable Hold where Dung Eater is located (next to the Twin Maiden Husks). You will be able to do this by making your way to Leyndell, the Royal Capital, later on in the story.

You will receive the key to Sewer-Gaol if you give Dung Eater just one Seedbed Curse.

Discover his true form in the underground shunning grounds that are located beneath the Royal Capital of Leyndell.

After that, you will face a challenge from Dung Eater as you return to the Roundtable Hold.

Do battle with the Dung Eater on the Outer Moat in Leyndell, the Royal Capital.

You must travel to Leyndell, the Royal Capital, Volcano Manor, and Miquella’s Haligtree to acquire the Seedbed Curse and then deliver it to Dung Eater in the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds.

After you have handed over all five Seedbed Curses to him, he will hand over the Mending Rune of the Fell Curse to you.

After the conclusion of the final boss fight, make use of the Mending Rune of the Fell Curse.
